The GloveQb concept
The frame
The basis of each GloveQb-system is being formed by the specially designed frame- and connection parts. The sealing grooves with dual functionality guarantee a gas-tight assembly of either adjacent frames or panels. In the standard version, the frame parts are of equal length. The resulting cubical spaces allow for maximum modularity in 3D. Of course we also offer other dimensions like 1/4 sized frames, double-sized and rectangular frames or custom sizes.
Creating functional space with panels
By means of exchangeable panels, the frames can be closed-off to create gas-tight workspaces. The GloveQb shown is fitted with a number of functional panels, including a transparent panel with glove-ports, a transparent top-panel, and a stainless-steel side panel with an antechamber connection. There is a wide range of materials that can be used. We produce panels in stainless-steel (304, 316), aluminum, PC, PMMA, or any material that suits your application best.
Combining GloveQb systems
GloveQb's can easily be enlarged, re-used and re-assembled. Different size frame parts can be combined to create rectangular spaces instead of cubical spaces. From the frames of two GloveQb's you can simply assemble one double sized system, or you can interconnect two separate systems by means of a 2- or 3-way antechamber. In this way, you can isolate processes, for exmple synthesis and packaging, or create central storage boxes interfacing multiple workstations.
