Design your GloveQb system
Preconfigured or Custom made systems
The GloveQb concept allows you to easily assemble a system yourself. You can choose a preconfigured model, or leave the design fully to us, but you can also create a draft design that fits your application best. The basic frames and parts listed below, completed with any accessories, can serve as building blocks for your design. Selectpanels with the desired functionality and you can create a fully gas-tight space with ease. Of course we can also assist in designing your system. If you need help or if have you special requests, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Frames and components
BasicQb (Qb-12N)
The basic frame has dimensions of 700x700x700 mm3 and, because it is cubical, it features a unique 3D modularity: 1) more Qb's can be added in any direction panels can be rotated in 90 degree steps and 3) panels can be transferred to all other sides of a frame. The dimension of 700 mm was selected so that an average person can reach practically every spot in the workspace without special tools. If you need more workspace you can combine multiple BasicQb's. Alternatively, larger frames are available too. Each frame-part has multiple threaded holes that can be used for attaching tools and accessories within your GloveQb.
MiniQb (Qb-6N)
The MiniQb has dimensions of 350x350x350 mm3 which means its panels are 1/4 of the BasicQb panels. It is a perfect addition to a larger GloveQb to create extra workspace locally, or use it as a storage/transfer space between larger GloveQb's. Because of its size, a MiniQb can be transported easily, even with contents under protected atmosphere.
The MiniQb frames also feature multiple threaded holes and of course you can combine the MiniQb frame parts with larger frames to create for example rectangular GloveQb's.
Using frames to create the desired space.
GloveQb frames can be connected together in a gas-tight manner: frame-2-frame. In this way, you can make double boxes, tunnels, or other 3D combinations, for example to enclose a machine with some protruding parts. The resulting frame composition can be closed-off with panels to form a gas-tight workspace. And if you need more space in the future? No problem, just add frames to your existing composition.
